Positioned in the heart of the Middle East, The Persian Gulf introduces you to a range of captivating historic culture complete with grand markets, palaces and temples surrounded by a sea of sand. Travel through time moving from the age-old bazars into a jungle of ultra-modern sky high glass and steel structures towering around you on every side where the wealth generated from rich oil reserves is evident at every turn.

The architecture is not the only attraction. This area of the world is renowned for its climate. Boasting unique year-round warmth due to its subtropical climate, the Persian Gulf with summer temperatures exceeding 35℃ and with the coldest winter months still reaching over 20℃. Not only is the climate warm but the gulf is also regarded as one of the warmest seas in the world with its warm waters often being around 30℃ allowing for long comfortable swims. The beautiful waters of the gulf are perfectly complemented by long white beaches which are well suited to sunbathing.

Cruise in Dubai and Abu Dhabi

The voyage aboard the cruise ship will also enable you to explore some of the best towns and cities that the Persian Gulf has to offer. A great example of this is the United Arab Emirate City of Dubai. Dubai was originally a small fishing village built mainly on the pearl fishing industry before being transformed into one of the richest, most modern cities in the world by the discovery of its oil rich reserves. This has led to it having a full range of first-rate attractions such as numerous top class restaurants, extensive shopping malls, outstanding waterparks and not forgetting its own indoor ski slope. Dubai is also home to outstanding architectural projects, such as man-made islands like The Palm or The Globe which reach out into the sea. Including the world’s tallest building the Burj Khalifa standing an impressive 828 meters tall. Despite all its modern prowess Dubai still retains some of its heritage coming mainly from its authentic souk markets and the old Dubai bazaar. The desert safari also gives you the chance to experience the Bedouin lifestyle whilst getting to explore the sea of sand dunes.

Just down the coast from Dubai you will find the capital city of Abu Dhabi. Like Dubai it has benefited from the discovery of its plentiful oil fields. Within Abu Dhabi there is a real appeal about its beautiful locations, such as the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque which is eighth largest mosque in the world and the majestic Emirates Palace. In Abu Dhabi, ancient culture is never far from the surface and you will find mosques, temples and serene gardens to bring peace and balance to your Abu Dhabi experience. Abu Dhabi has also been quick to adopt new cutting edge developments such as Ferrari World, the world’s largest indoor amusement park and the state of the art Yas Marina Circuit.

Cruises to India

Departing from the Persian Gulf the cruise ship will move towards the Indian subcontinent. India’s scenic beaches lend themselves perfectly to the relaxed lifestyle experience over there. A perfect example of this is the city and district of the former Portuguese colony Goa. Beach life is at the heart of Goan life. It’s soft sands and crystal clear warm are perfect for relaxing into the seductively slow pace of life. Away from Goa’s tranquil palm-fringed beaches, a sight to be seen is the regional capital of Panjim complete with archaic temples, churches and other forms of ancient architecture that show off the region’s rich history. The local delicacies such as the Goan fish curry or one of the many other native specialties are also highly popular with visitors to the area. As evening draws in, the famous nightlife begins. Take a chance to explore some of Goa’s best water front night life destinations and restaurants.

Mumbai is another one of India’s spectacular cities. Home to over 19 million people, it is a perfect balance between chaos and beauty creating a sensual overload filled with the scent of the native spices in the air, the free-for-all of roaring mopeds and taxis and the colorful garments on display in the local street market stalls. Mumbai is also the perfect balance of where modern India meets old India. The bustling street markets are overlooked by the modern high rise towers of the city. The ancient temples such as the temple of Babulnath and spice shops on the streets evidently show India’s vibrant history whilst the future of India is demonstrated by its very modern high rise building.

Like the Persian Gulf the Indian subcontinent also benefits from exceptional year-round weather. Places on the west side of India such as Goa and Mumbai have an average year-round temperature in the mid 20s. During the summer months’ temperatures can reach up to 35℃. Like the climate on land the Arabian sea which surrounds the western coast of India has very warm water throughout the year making it ideal whenever you go.

The Persian Gulf Cruise Experience
